The competition is open to producers from all countries.

The aim is to ensure international comparability of products while taking regional characteristics and traditional production methods into account.

The jury consists of specially trained experts from different countries. All jury members have previously worked with the World-Spirits Award and hold the qualification “Master of World-Spirits.”

The results are communicated worldwide and provide producers with independent proof of quality.
